Counselling Service For You

Rural Regional & Remote Counselling Support
Counselling Support - Rural, Regional & Remote
Access to professional counselling and mental health support should never depend on where you live. If you are in rural, regional, or remote Australia, confidential, high-quality counselling is available to you—without the need to travel long distances or leave your community.

You can access counselling services using a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, allowing eligible sessions to be rebated through Medicare. This makes ongoing mental health support more affordable and accessible, particularly for individuals and families outside metropolitan areas.
Counselling can be provided via secure telehealth or online sessions, offering the same evidence-based, person-centred care you would receive face-to-face. Telehealth counselling is effective for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, life transitions, and emotional wellbeing—while allowing you to remain in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Living remotely does not mean you have to manage challenges alone. If you are feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or simply need someone to talk to, reaching out for counselling support is a strong and proactive step toward better mental health, resilience, and wellbeing—no matter where you are in Australia.

Appointments are on phone or Zoom for regional & rural support.
Don't hesitate to call now - 0457 541 348 for a free 15 min consultation. Fees are very minimal and payment can be arranged prior to the sessions. Mental Health Care Plans (Medicare) are accepted.

Guidelines for Online Appointments
We can maximise our online experience if we both:
-
ensure that we have a private, quiet, dedicated place for our meeting.
-
make sure that we have all that we need at our fingertips, for example; notes, books, pad, pen and a drink.
-
remove distractions; ensure that the TV, radio, kids, work colleagues or other computer applications are turned off.
-
have had a few minutes to prepare ourselves before meeting, so that we are relaxed and
-
focused, not rushed with scattered thoughts.
-
consider this a normal appointment, the same as if visiting a G.P, Dentist or other healthcare professional in their office. We wouldn’t wear our pyjamas to an appointment (though we might like to), so lets keep the space professional.
